Die Kölner Band Escape With Romeo entstand 1989, nachdem sich Thomas Elbern von Pink Turns Blue getrennt hatte. Kurze Zeit später trat Martin Pott der Band bei und schon bald wurde das Debütalbum „Escape With Romeo“ veröffentlicht.
