Ohne Nomen
Do you know when a dress worn for over 10 years is now worn out? – Born from Marlat’s – a well know Italian dark wave, gothic rock act – burning ashes by Fra Angenoir Marlat (vocals and synth) and Philippe Marlat (synth and bass) alchemy, O.N is an electro dark / witch wave duo founded in 2020.

Unlike their previous music project ohne nomen’s sound winks to the dark club dance floors with a mix of straight beats, harsh basses and sharpened synths, pasted together by the emphatic and
sensual Francesca’s voice: the pale light you must follow, to be guided in a trip in a never-ending night, but, the ritual is completed during the adrenaline-filled live show.

The band, in the roster of the German label Cold Transmission Music, released its first album ‘nightflower’ in 2021 and the successful second full length, ‘the S-witch’ in the summer of 2023.

‘The s-witch’, as declared by the title, makes a shift on the band sounds from the emphatic electro wave of the early days to a much more consistent and dark floor oriented electro dark.
The ingredients of the magic potion mixed in the witches pot by Francesca and Philippe are: straight beats, harsh basses and sharpened synths with Francesca voice which gets colder and sensual singing about magic, but also real life, relationship and feelings, and guiding you into a trip to discover how beautiful, scary and magic darkness is ….

Delta Komplex
The sound of Delta Komplex unfolds us in layers of veils and pulls us into contradictory emotional worlds in which we dance around between 80s Synth-Pop Elements, classic Dark Wave and obvious Post-Punk influences.

With an intriguing and truly romantic goth singer with ’siousxielike‘ influences, a guitarist inspired by the sounds of early NDW and Punk Bands and a composer who blends analogue sounds with modern synth elements to complex compositions which are hardly to reference.

Raskolnikov
The band Raskolnikov was formed by Mathieu Pawełski-Szpiechowycz (bass / vocals) at the end of 2015, travelling between Geneva, Paris, Reims and Constance. Pablo Garrido (guitar) and Jérôme Blum (drums) joined the project at the beginning of 2017.

The sound engineer Jaime Fernandez Da Costa who produced the second album and the live session in 2021 is playing in the band as guitarist since 2021.

A third album, preceded by a single and a digital EP in spring 2024, will come up in fall 2024.

Influenced by the various wave, post-punk and shoegaze movements of the 70s, 80s and 90s, Raskolnikov’s music is as melancholic as it is hypnotic and energetic, with existentialist lyrics.
It’s a mix of the dark and floating universe of coldwave, mixed with the rebellious energy of post-punk and the melodic density of shoegaze. A penetrating voice accompanies the music, communicating open-ended questions from a first-person perspective, about destruction, anger, obsession, oblivion, regression, fear, failure, pain, regret, downfall and loss of self, but not without references to hope.

This polyphony of unordered consciousness, which leads to the division of the self, refers to the name of the group, which comes back to the protagonist Rodion Raskolnikov in Fedor Dostoevsky’s social-psychological-philosophical novel „Crime and Punishment“ (in Russian: „Prestuplenie i nakazanie“, 1866). The Russian word ‚raskol‘ means schism, the break with the conventions of the musical genre to which the group’s work refers, as well as the nominative notions of individual and collective being, reason and madness, isolation by society.

The debut album „Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall“ was released on 18th October 2017 on the Parisian label Manic Depression Records.

The seven tracks written and recorded on guitar, vocals and bass by Mathieu Pawełski-Szpiechowycz, appeared on a first EP released in 2016, then reworked together with Jérôme Blum (drums and synthesizers), to appear on the first album.

This first production, signed to Manic Depression Records, received a lot of encouragement from the dark scene, with the band playing between February 2017 and December 2019 more than 70 gigs across Europe.

The second album „Lazy people will destroy you“ will be released on February 28th 2020 on Manic Depression Records and Icy Cold Records. The universe of the songs retains the same trademark for the second opus; sometimes dark and unbridled, sometimes cold and melancholic. The sound recordings of the ten tracks were recorded in several locations throughout 2019; in France, Switzerland and Germany, then entrusted to Jaime Fernandez Da Costa, a sound engineer based in Constance (Germany).

The concert dates scheduled for spring and autumn 2020 were cancelled or moved to late 2021 and 2022.

The decision to record and film the set that should have been played in front of the audience this year was then taken by the band members.

8 live tracks were recorded at La Mine on September 3rd 2020 in Geneva. Jaime Fernandez Da Costa mixed and mastered the sound and the film was directed and produced by Yohan Schott. „Don’t want to die of boredom today“ was released in spring 2021 in audio and video on the band’s RS platforms and in physical format on Icy Cold Records and Manic Depression Records.
